Broke screw off.

I am new here but have been reading alot of posts. I was going to replace my DSP system with double din and broke off the screw under volume knob. I was wondering if anybody knows how the mechanism works and if I can still remove the radio without butchering it. Thanks

Could anyone take a picture of the radio locking mechanism or tell me what the screw is attached to. Would like to get the radio out and replace with 2din. Thanks

IIRC, that screw is not supposed to be removed, just loosened.

It's not broken

Your picture was out of focus but as one member said, the torx bolt is not supposed to come out...you just loosen it enough so that the radio can come out.
