Question FM Radio/Sound Level issues

Hi All,

I have an 06 X5, with nav, cd changer, bluetooth tcu. it has no-dsp or tv module.

I am having an issue with the sound level on the FM radio stations where the sound level/volume changes (lowers/raises) every so often. I have had BMW check it out several times and they say its fine, they have even replaced the radio tuner module. Put the problems still persists. It only occurs when listening to radio stations, not when playing music cds.

Has this issue happened to anyone else? I am thinking it then has to be something with the antenna, its connections or the antenna amplifier or something along those lines.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated, I have already dealt with BMW dealer on this issue to many times to care to bring it back, and for them to tell that they could not duplicate the problem or that everything is measuring with in spec.

Please excuse me if this is the wrong thread to post on, but my wife is driving me up the wall asking me to fix this.

Thanks.
