Voice Control - How do I switch it on?

The voice control button in my X5 doesn't do anything when pressed.

I managed to pair my phone with the car, although the message 'please wait' is all I get when pressing the R/T button.

The onboard system receives calls ok, and I can use it if I initiate a call with the phone manually, but there is no ability to manually control the phone, computer, nav, or take notes, using the voice system.

any ideas?

Hi Phil, maybe a dumb question, but is there a quick way to see if I already have that installed or not?
