Both rear door speakers not working E53

Basic HiFi system. All functions in the head unit work. Front speakers all work. Rear door tweeters both work. No evidence of water leaking where the Amp is in the left rear compartment. Found a wrecked E53 with hiFi in the junkyard, swapped out that amp for mine, same thing no change. Main speakers in both rear doors are out. Has anyone encountered wiring issues? Seems unlikely both speakers blew out.

I'm having the same problem. I got the BSW stage 1 upgrade kit a year ago and everything was working fine. I noticed earlier this week that all three speakers on the front passenger door (tweeter, midrange, and bass driver) do not produce any sound. I knew they couldn't all went bad together at the same time, so I removed the door panel and noticed that the capacitor (axial 3.3 micro farad 100V capacitor) was loose from the wire. I played with it a little and the speakers on the passenger door would work, but then it came completely loose, as one of the leads snipped off. Hope this helps out.

I had the issue with one of my rear door woofers not working. My first thought that is was a wiring or amp problem but I pulled the speaker and tested with an ohm meter to find the issue was with the speaker. I picked up a used one from a wrecked X5 and works as good as new.

I had both rear speakers replaced under warranty at 28K miles. They stopped producing sound completely. Then the issue happened again at 51K miles....thats when I just upgraded the whole speaker system in the car.
