CD Player Skipping
So I'm deciding to get a replacement or do they even have aftermarket brand names that is of the same fitment? I couldn't even find the oem replacement for this, anyone know how much this runs? |

You can find them used on eBay now and then a bit cheaper, but here's one on eBay from Chisty_BMW (a very reputable seller) that should do the trick - http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-BUSINESS-IND...QQcmdZViewItem

Are there any adjustments that can be made inside the CD Player? I bought a used one from eBay to support Sirius and it sounded looser when I shook it than my original one. I have the sport suspension and it seems to make the cds skip over even the tinyest of bumps!
(Though I've only tried it with burned CDs of late, I'll have to put in something factory-burned too.) |

There are settings on the side of the CD changer that correspond to whether the unit is to be mounted vertically or horizontally. You need to set it for a horizontal mount for an X5.

Yes, I saw those threads, but this is my in-dash business cd player.
