USB Audio interface - Option 6FL

Right Guys - I've made some progress on this since i've last been here.

There is an official retrofit kit available for european e70 x5's which can be installed easily enough.

The Part No is: 65410444937 (as qouted by Real Oem)

This is priced at €183 ex vat - Trade Price

However - As of yet we have been unable to track down the actual fitting instructions for this - Although I fell that with the car disassembly instructions from TIS and the retrofit install guide for the 1 & 3 series cars it should be possible to work it out.

The USB Hub which is the brains of the system is connected to the M-ULF which is located in the left hand compartment in the Boot (Trunk Area).

I think I'm gonna take the chance and give this a shot. There is quite a high chance this will work.

I'll keep ye posted anyways

Does the link I posted above not show what you need?

It does but the USB hub is located in a slightly different place in the e70 and requires slightly different bracketry to house it. But as regards your guide it shows the correct pinouts etc.

Gonna run with this anyways and see how it goes.

Local BMW Dealer is able to organise it for me.

I'll be ordering it on Monday so I'll know what the story is.
