The Trunk harness used is different than the silverline units - it will need to be replaced.

Will the steering wheel controls still function the same for the bluetooth? Will I be able to still use R/T for switcing between radio and bt functionality and finally it mentioned mic.. Will i have to remove my bmw OEM mic or add a cheap looking mic over top my sunvisor.
The 1000 sounds better but like i said I just want the bluetooth streaming and music announcement. Install guide pdf available yet?
The factory bluetooth has a bit more options than the MediaBridge version - particularly with the phonebook. If you are already equipped with OEM bluetooth - I would recommend using the BMW version instead and the MediaBridge for the other options.
