E53 X5 - Remote power connection for audio

I have a very basic six-speaker stereo with no amp. I want to power up my MS8 through the REM-IN when I switch on the stereo on the head unit.
Would some one be able to assist me through their knowledge/experience as to which wire colour I need to tap in to at the oem radio (under the spare wheel) or at the navigation/trim on the left side of the SUV.

Once again please note I don't have a factory amp. Thank you.

IGN on. You'll find it in many places. Pretty sure it's violet with a white stripe.
