Speakers stopped working.

So it looks like my rear driver's door speakers aren't working. Neither of them. That leads me to believe it's possibly not the speakers and the wiring, any thoughts?

I am already considering the BSW stage 1 upgrade, but not sure if that will resolve my issue. don't want to do a speaker upgrade and still have a wiring issue for some reason.

Also - Does the stage 1 upgrade use an amp? can i add an amp? I have one that i've had for years and haven't installed yet. Also, have a subwoofer and an elemental designs amp for the sub i want to install..

any opinions / advice / comments welcome.
