Sirius Satellite Radio disappears!

Hey guys...I hope someone has a solution for me.

After jumping my E53 (with built in Sirius tuner) one day, my satellite radio now only works intermittently.

If I reset the power supply to the Sat Module, then it usually works next time I turn on the vehicle. However, when I start the vehicle later, the satellite option is no longer available in "mode". Just skips FM/CD.

Sometimes, if the cars been off for >12 hours, the Sirius will work when I start the car.

When it's available, it works perfect.

What could be causing the BMW radio to not communicate regularly with the Satellite module?
