Yes, the top photo shows the CD changer leads, through which you can attach various other stereo gear (Blitzsafe XM Direct, Dension Icelink, etc).

Don't know about the bottom.

Yes, it should, if I read it correctly.

Speak to Tom before you do anything as the leads you get in the UK are different to the ones supplied in the USA ! I bought a kit from the UK ang got the trunk install lead from Tom.

We have Quad lock lead which go under the spaer wheel or the leads in the state plug into the changer! Or the other option goto halfords will fit the ice link for £99 I have been told

Overseas kits (UK, and other countries) will only get the R40 harnesses which are commonly referred to as the quadlock. These will connect directly to the radio tuned underneath the spare tire.

While this will work - this rules out any chance of Bluetooth, Sirius radio or Navigation voiceprompts without rewiring the kit. We have a specific trunk interface cable that uses the dedicated CD Changer cable and allows for all BMW devices to coexist together.

You can still use the Quad lock connector but you have to move a couple of wire to get you bluetooth and nav working or just do what I did and order a lead from Tom.Then jus plugs in. Then you can also get a source selector and keep your CD changer too!
