Capinsatchell is on a distinguished road
I made a cable myself and didn't put any of the resistors in. I hasn't damaged anything so far. One problem that I think is associated with not using the resistors is that when I go to charge whatever device I'm listening to, it kicks it out of Aux mode. Hopefully that helps...
