don't know if that would matter, where did you get your switched power from, the 2nd wire in your first post? From the amp connection or somewhere under the dash?

At the HU I have the adapter I linked. The Professional CD player from the dash is back where the amp & CD changer would be.

I wired mine like this plus a second power source into I think pin 16. @ 2:41

Found a violet/white wire not going to the radio but behind it and it works! Yeah!!
