Looking to replace stock speaker in the X

I've been wanting to replace the stock speakers so just wanted to confirm that the fronts and rears are 6 1/2s and not some odd sizes. Planning on replacing those first to see how much better the car will sound with stock amp.

Also was there a detailed description on how to remove the front and rear door panels. Tools, procedures, things to avoid, stuff like that. I looked at the mod page but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks
