rear camera selection ?

No this is not a another rear camera setup thread. My question what is a good recommended rear camera to purchase for use with OEM tv and factory nav. I mean i want something like todays cars that have the overlay show on nav screen. So if i turn the wheel left or right you see the lines move. Is that in the camera itself or some processing done somewhere else. Is it easier to get a aftermarket headunit. The new N6 is looking promising. I just like staying or looking stock though.

the turning lines come from the steering angle sensor, and that info is processed outside of a camera... the TV and nav will give you just a video input, and will need to have video processed by an external "box" to overlay those moving lines... or, use N6...

or, get yourself a bird-eye view setup, and feed all 4 cameras into the birds-eye box, and feed video from that box to TV...

well, the reason i don't have it is

- money... it is about $400-$600 for the box from unknown chinese vendor
- camera installation - time consuming, you need one in the back (already have), one in the front, one each in the outside mirror underbelly
- time - so many things are happening, i don't have two-three days to spare for the install...

otherwise, it is doable...
