Hi All:

This winter, my battery died when it was super cold out, so I had to boost it a few times to get the engine started on separate occasions. At first the Nav unit would flicker a bit or work fine and then it would eventually reboot and work for a while. Now, the Nav screen is only flickering black and not displaying anything. On the very odd occasion, it will display what is expected for a few seconds but then go back to flickering.

Has anyone run into this problem?

I was thinking of opening up the head unit to see if any capacitors blew or to see if there is anything obvious that could be replaced to fix it.

Maybe I just need to buy another one?
