Faulty mk4 v32 software

Hi all, I have just installed v32 software sw4-1/01 on my mk4 nav x5 e53 but I believe it is faulty, I bought it from a seller on eBay who has sold thousands of them. For one the whole system is painfully slow, it crashes and reboots a lot, there is nowhere for a 7 digit postcode input (allows 4 digits), and when turning to map mode there are no streets on view, just the cars icon on a blank screen with the north pointer in the top left? Thing is if I get the seller to send a replacement software disc will the nav computer tell me it already has the same version installed? Kind regards Liam
