V26-09a Problems or Bugs Encountered - Page 2

I have the Software for 5 days on 2 mk4 systems and i didn't have any trouble. Just one hangup while boot process, but I start the car 5-10 times daily. With elder SW-versions it hung up 1-2 times in the year, too. Im very happy with that software

yesterday I installed the SW again with standard boot-logo and version-text.

P.S. if the info- and sel- button doesn't work, aux-fan or BMW-ASSIST, you have to go to BMW-Dealer to encode the mk4. This installation deletes all car-specific settings (older radio, vin, model) and the mk4 is set back to factory mode. these problems are no issues of that software version.

Mine has just crashed been working fine up until now I am leaving the car for a hour and try and restart it and hope it is all ok Crazy thing is the nav was not even on screen has half the CD screen up and half blank all the CD and radio still work.

I went back to the car a hour later and was all ok. When I left work tonight all was ok I stopped on the way home and just got the load up screen nothing more. I have just loaded version 26 back on over the top of the patch hope this sorts it out.

I've had the freezing up issue, but with a twist. The radio/cd/tape stopped working for a bit. Once I stopped and let the equipment cool down, it started working again. After the next start it was fine, until the last start (after ~15 min stop) it froze at the splash screen but the radio worked fine.

I installed version 26 and still left with perspective mode and has been fine since Wed night.

It will stay until you change modes, then you wont be able to get it back until you reinstall the hack.

I just upgraded an E39 which was running v26 already. We downgraded to v25 and then upgraded to v26 with 3Dtoggel patch, we did not use the beta.

The 3D stuff works, but the info button no longer works...

Is there any way to get this back ?

The mk4 is set back to factory-settings and supports now the newer type of radio. You might have now splitt mode for the radio-screen, too. You can go to the dealer and let him encode encode the mk4. Then the info-button works but the splitt-mode for the radio is impossible as before.

Hi, Vollgasfahrer
is there any other way also to test newer versions of mod. v.26 without downgrading to v.25 and loosing the functions of INFO and SELECT ?
I was coding the MK4, now all works fine, but i will not ever go to the dealer and let they coding...
(I will test the ***boot-final file)
