I have 2006-2, I have the 2005-2 too and there's no difference between them. Plus I tested them in a newly developing area (end of 210 for those who live in LA)

Not sure about content, however there are some enhancements to the 2006-2 DVD. Among other changes, you can now select locations by state and zip code.

Hm didn't pay attention to the zip codes. How do you do that? I don't think there's a space that you can put in ZIP codes...

Where you select the Country (United States or Canada) you can now also select specific states or providences.

Where you select the City you can now also input a 5 digit zip code (notice the numbers as a selection)

General Destinations and Travel Information are now merged and much more complete than 2005-2.

How does one go about getting the new DVD. I spoke to South Bay BMW and Crevier in Southern California and they are telling me to wait until the summer ?!

fyi...doesn't seem to accept zips for Canadian cities...only US (running v27 on a MKIV with disc 2006-2). That seemed odd to me as they do mention that this feature was for US/Canadian destinations

Thankgoodness !! It was truely terrible the way that was done in my 2004-2! ... The structure seems much more logical now.
