'01 E38 What software version to use????

I've got an '01 E38 with MKIII widescreen NAV and am wondering what is the best version of the software to be running. I upgraded it twice since I have had the car. The first upgrade gave me split screen which was great, but the next time I did it I saw no change and learned that the upgrades were only for DVD based system. So, should I leave it alone or is there a newer version that will do something for me?

Thanks

The last update for MK3 was with V22. All versions after V22 did not bring any new code for the MK3. You might consider replacing the MK3 with an MK4 unit, replacement is easy.
