I could make your splashscreen in return (i'm a graphic designer)

Would also be neat if a programmer could add a function for selecting multiple splashscreens in settings menu. not neccesary for me.

MK3 or MK4 is your navi computer?
If you running MK4, here is v32 with Alpina screen MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Unrar, burn image in lower speed on quality CD-R (Verbatim or Sony) with Nero.

WARNING: DO NOT LOAD THIS SOFTWARE IN MK3, BECAUSE IT IS IN MODE1!!!

Please help?!? I have an '03 M3 'vert with a Mark IV nav. The screen displays "SW 4-1/12"... I suppose it's original and I know I am WAY behind. I am not exactly sure if I need to burn the "key" disc dsicussed in some of the posts here or if I can go directly to V.32 from where I am. I have tried the links to burn my own V.32 disc, but my burner (LG) will not burn slower than 4X. Needless to say, I can not get a good burn. Would someone be willing to burn me a V.32 disc with the roundel/M3 logo from post 12 that is quoted above (lower left hand corner image)? I would be happy to Paypal for the disc and shipping. Also, can I go straight from where I am to V.32 or do I need to do an intermediate step somewhere in between.

Thanks to all for the images and information. I was part of a GTP forum much like this and hope to be able to contribute in the future as I learn more about these fine pieces of machinery.

BTW, here is an interesting story. I took my M3 to the stealership for a complimentary inspection. While I was there I asked what it would cost to have the Nav OS upgraded to V.32. The service person (not shockingly) did not know. After speaking with the Service Manager, he came back and told me that it was IMPOSSIBLE to upgrade the OS at all. I would have to buy a new unit if I wanted V.32. I was amazed. Anyway, I hope to get upgraded soon and take it back to show them how much they are idiots for not knowing or not disclosing that they know how to do their jobs. Thanks in advance!

Thanks and that is the problem... when I set it to burn at the slowest speed, the results show that it burned at 4X.
