For future reference, for those that may need some tips on removing a stuck disk from a nav drive, thanks to JV.

x0rr0 is on a distinguished road
On my navi01 drive (MK3 for the 745Li), I realized that I could get the cd out without voiding the warranty. Which I then took to the dealer and got replaced with a dvd.

Anyway, you have to get the drive out of the car, get the security clips off of the sides, unscrew the two screws on top right behind the faceplate (Torx) and the two underneath the faceplate (Torx). Then you pull off the faceplate (careful, there are tabs around it that you might have to lift) and you can use two small flathead screwdrivers to get the top of the spindle and the bottom of the spindle from out of the center hole of the cd as you grab the cd and pull it out of the sweet spot of the drive. Then you can push down on the two posts that prevent you from putting a cd in and then pull the cd the rest of the way out. Put together in reverse.

Not sure if that will apply to an actual MK3 drive, but I did it when i botched an update and couldnt fix it. put it back together, took it to dealer, stated mystery nav crash and got a new dvd unit. =)
