The color for the I-Bus cable is white/yellow/grey. You can also tap into it behind the radio but there are many other places where you'll find an I-Bus cable in your BMW

I-bus
Helo, I`m Carlos Galiano, from Spain . I have achieved to install
the navigator with another kabelbaum, number 0-302-345, it seems I needed the new connection , my X5 is from august 2001. The thing now is that I haven?t connected correctly behind the tacho: I have one loose brown/red kabelbaum which I?m not sure where to connect: I see two loose connection plugs: one is behind the km counter and the other one is behind the revolutions counter. With which should I connect the brown/red kabelbaum? This afternoon I have been at the BMW service and they have told me that they can not change the language of the navigator because the car doesn?t recognise the navigator, do you know why this may happen? Also the navigator doesn?t show the same time and date as the computer onboard, do you think all this may happen because of the same reason? Thank you very much in advance and sorry to disturb you. |
