One thing that wasn't clear from this thread is whether or not the dealer will upgrade my map from 2004-2 to 2006-2 @ no charge?
If you are referring to the navigational disk and not the OS then the answer most likely is no.

no perspective - no hidden menu w/ V27

I must be doing something wrong -- I upgraded to V27 seems to work fine --but no perspective -- I can't even get into the hidden menu -- I went to the main menu and then settings. Pressed the menu button (it jumps back to the main menu screen) held it for over 10s but no new meau appears - have old DVD -- 2002-1 - I think - does that matter?

Is there another way to get to the hidden menu?

Reg

If it is jumping right back to the main menu then keep trying. You'll get it.

Does anyone have an iso or cue/bin of this image? I don't have access to a windows computer for a while.

I tried renaming the .mdf to .iso as some have suggested, but that wasn't recognized as a valid. burning it anyway resulted in a coaster.

Your available languages will not change. What you have now you will also have after the update. Nothing more and nothing less.
