I had v26 (never loaded 26.09a) on my 2003.5 M3 and updated to v27 posted above and no perspective view.
![]() I bet it's only on the alpha build (26.09a) and any subsequent updates after that retains that view. Does anyone have the official release notes for v27? UPDATE: Thanks to 2Wires, the Perspective option is now available. See 2Wire's post below on the additional steps needed to turn on Perspective mode once you do the update. Also thanks to UCrewX5 for posting the fw image.

In any event: 1) You can be charged for re-coding the NAV (particularly because of something you did). If your car is in for some other reason, a nice dealer may do it for free. If you have a good relationship with your dealer's service people, they may do it for free. 2) There is a law, called the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act, which says that a warranty claim cannot be denied just because aftermarket parts are installed. The dealer would have to prove that the aftermarket parts were directly responsible for the problem. See http://www.google.com/search?q=magnu...mprovement+act for some relevant Google results. In any event, the re-coding is a service you would expect to be charged for (see #1), so warranty issues don't come into consideration. |

emule Link to V27 software
Hi all,
I downloaded V27 at about 2am (UK time) this morning... I've now shared the v27 software in emule.. The emule link is below... ed2k://|file|bmw%20v27%20navigation%20update.rar|14350127 5|B1E4B11FDE0324EA20CB3342DED915AE|h=252SLMNNBZ6IK 453JAIL3HYQZVVQSAAZ|/ if you haven't got emule then get it from www.emule-project.net if you can't use the link above (with emule installed), then just do a search for "bmw v27", ensuring that you do a "Global Server(s)" search, and not a "local server" search..
