Radio Module Question - BM53

i have an early build radio module for nav and I want to upgrade it so that I can have the Nav instructions not completely mute the radio and also get split screen for radio and nav.

The one i'm looking to purchase was made in 7/03. Is this new enough to get those two features?

Not sure about the 7/03 date you mention, but the BM53 Radio I am selling on Ebay right now (5/2004) does exactly what you want. Split screen radio/nav and Nav instructions doesn't completely mute the radio. Also the radio is compatible with Aux input and Sirius Satellite Radio.

Cheers, Adrian
