Question question about v27 update

hey im new to the boards,
i have a 2006 X5 4.4 w/ nav
i purchased it and took delivery on april fools.
I heard about the update on the forum to add perspective view.
I asked the dealer to update it since i just purchased it, the y said the've never heard of that before. What should i do ???
Then i get a 2005 nav disk and not a 2006.

?????????? also would i lose Bmw assist feature if i update it on my own, does it also break the warranty?

BMW X5 4.4i 2006 sport
BMW X5 3.0i 2004 soon to be 2007 530i sport
