NAVIGATION and Stereo not working

Hey all,

My 2000 4.4 has a navigation and premium sound system that is not working. At first the navigation started to blink off and on when entering in destinations but the stereo was fine. Had it at the stealer and they told me like $3000 to relpace the computer module? Now the stereo stopped working (at least the sound anyway) I can turn it on and scroll through the stations but no sound comes out of the speakers? The other thing is that the car battery gets drained completely even if the car is turned off. There is a sound coming from the navigation cd changer like it is cycling for a disk even with no disk inside. I took the fuses out so my battery will not drain. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem for less than the dealer price? Or am I better to just get a new stereo and nav system? Help me X5 Family!
