I was playing with Nav Tweak since the first post and now I just put my changes to the V29.1 and installed no problem. Afterwards I thought I should have changed the color of the yardstick because just the black color what says 100m etc. looks ugly. No problem to overwrite the V29.1 but where do I find this point in Nav Tweak? Looked at all colors but couldnīt find it any ideas? If I remember right the E60 shows it in a black rectangle with red numbers looks interesting too.

Try into : mapcolours - lettering (it's black color of 100m of SCALE)

Ok found it. The lettering is only for the yardstick? Iīm just concerned if I change the color it will affect other stuff too.

In my E46 there was originally a MKII nav fitted.
When I switched on the lights, the colours on screen changed to a dim mode, with the original MKII.
On the later MKIII and MKIV models this didn't work anymore, could this be done by the different colour-maps within the software?

Hi guys,

I've just popped back on to see if anyone had got any more navagation arrows onto their sat navs yet.

I see you've been working on the background sky, I never got round to that and the minis gone now, got a new R56 but with no nav to play with

Hi there, I have an MKII unit and I don't know witch file to open, how can I be sure witch folder is opened with my unit, in v29 there are MK2c and MK2m folders and in every one there is 0101, 0110, 0201, 0211 folder.
I have tryed to open usw_load in every one of them and every time navtweak reports file unknown, I have gtk 2.10. installed.
Im from Europe, maybe there is some other file or it's the same for US and Europe?

I need more help, when I turn ignition on there is a white screen on my lcd, ===BMW=== sign is never displayed, can anybody thell my why, v28 is installed, everything else is ok?

TNX in advance!

The MkII nav does not support the splash screen (===BMW===).

Splash screen happens on Mk3 or Mk4 nav only

No, this is a function defined by the operating system.

BMW removed this capability on later software versions.

If you want this function, you must down-grade to an older software version (and thus downgrade to fewer features and have more SW bugs)
