v27 cant go from perspective to flat?

You can leave the perspective view selection always checked in the service menu. That just enables the menu selection from the map view.
To change from perpspective view to one of the other views, go to your map view. Then, push the navigation knob to pull-up the sub-menu. Select the menu item like "map view" (I can not remember the exact name). From there, you sould get a deeper sub menu with selections like "Direction of Travel," "Pointing North," and "Perspective." Just select the direction of travel or pointing north options to get back to the 2-D flat map.

what exactly does "perspective" look like....I selected it in our options list...but it looks the same as it did when we first turned on the system.
Is perspective what appears to be "birds eye", from above? It's not 3D.... I've seen flat described as 2D...what i'm referring to is also 2D. does anybody have screen shots of the various views? |
