Nav brightness??

is there any way to make the nav brighter? i got my 03 used and it doesnt have the nav manual, among all of the other manuals.. but i was wondering if there is a way to make the nav brighter during the day??

i remember on my 350z nav you can make it bright during the day so its easy to read and at night it goes dim.. anything like that on the bmw system?

Hansel,

Try going from the normal blue appearance to the gold/khaki colored one, this may help during the day. Otherwise nothing that I know of apart from the normal brightness/contrast setting on the module which you can max out easily. Close the sunroof light protector, if you have all the way back.

Cheers

it works a little better, its just hard to read the street names sometimes depending on how bright it is outside.
