I upgraded my Nav OS to 27.1 but didn't edit the splash screen. I decided today that I wanted to change the splash screen and followed the directions for changing the splash screen. The software with the new navboot installed with no problems, but I still had the old BMW splash instead of the new one. I figure that the software won't overwrite anything that the old software has, so I'm figuring that I need to downgrade, then upgrade. I know that downgrading to v26 has caused the system to go into Euro mode, but will it do that with v24? Will downgrading to v27, then back up to v27.1 work, or are they essentially the same software? Thanks in advance for the help.
