Question Navigation Antenna

Hello there, I am in the process of putting in a navigation retrofit in my X5. Im almost done, but I still need to install the navigation antenna. Now, with the kit I did not get the nav DVD, so I bought one on eBay and its on its way. Anyway... is it that important where you mount the antenna (above the back window)?

Eric, There should be a place for it under the rear spoiler. You can mount it anyplace except under steel.
