Proof
I have an old Mk3 sat nav & have just used the V27 disc to update it. It now tells me i am running SW5.1. But when i go through the menus it tells me i'm running SW3-2/51. I also have just got the 2006 Map for the system that does not have a sticker on it, if you know what i mean. When i try to put an adress in from the last year or so it cannot find it, finds all the old roads etc ok, but not newer ones. I upgraded from a 2001 disc. Is there anyway i can prove it is a 2006 disc. Any help that any of you could possibly give would be greatly appreciated, i know time is precious. Cheers Paul |

Any chance of a screen shot of that version number on the MK III?
You can tell which CD the disk is by loading it on a PC and looking at the file dates (looking for the newest one in the root directory). The dates are usually about 6 months or so before the disk release, so 2006-1 will be mid 2005. |
