Date and Day on Nav Screen?

I was flipping thru postings a couple of days ago and noticed a picture of someone's Nav screen that showed the date and day of the week at the bottom of the screen...

08/07/06 Thursday (for example)

I'm running OS 26 and 2006.2 Maps on a MKIV but I don't have the day, just the date. Only choices I see in menu are for MM/DD or DD/MM. No reference to day of the week.

Thought the day being on there was kindda neat and was wondering when this was introduced? Which Navs, OS, Map Version, etc.
