I think the lesson learnt is, if you can browse the contents of the CD after you have imaged it then it is OK. In my case after it burnt the image(home PC) the CD appeared to be empty but, clearly you could see it had been written to.

The update worked a treat.
Well done Wally! Just keep hold of your previous OS CD (if you have one) for a while yet until you are happy that your Satnav is OK & reliable. Should you have any problems you can easily revert to your previous software then re-upgrade to V28. When you graduate to copying a DVD Map ISO image, use Nero 7 at the slowest possible speed on DVD+R.
