So I just discovered that my X5's Navi was retrofitted

Hey guys, perhaps someone can help me on this, I have an 01 X5 4.4 w/ Navi and last night I was playing with it and clicked on emergency to see what happens  and saw that it shows the vin # of the vehicle on that screenl; automatically I noticed that the vin # on the navi is a different # than the one on my car, so I went to Realoem.com, punched in the vin # (LV01630) and saw that this is actually from a 2004 X5 4.4 with a production date Nov. 2003.

Is there any advantage to me by having a navi from a car that was 2004 model year? my car does not show Aux. Ventilation is this the reason why? lastly does this mean I can have the factory XM radio on my car? when retrofitting the navi does the radio module need to be changed? if there is anything else you guys can think of that may be to my advantage I would appreciate your advice.

Thanks
Carlos
