If you live in Ukraine, run a 4.8 X5 & can't obtain a DVD map disk then you are not paying the local Mafia enough. They are available but consist of several CD maps being copied onto a single DVD. Pay more...

Try "Roman Abravmovich" - he will help you out - unless you are Georgian. Catch him on a benevolent day when he's not pissed off with his illegaly armed Ex-Spetsnatz London bodyguards. The day after he has bribed Londons Metropolitan Police to look the other way over his bodyguard's illegal small arms is usually good.

Its not easy to get maps of Eastern Europe. I had to make a copy of a friends pre-release CD of Poland and even that only covered major cities and major roads. Not sure if there even is a Ukranian CD yet, nothing Googled for me.

Best of luck, I would definitly try the local dealer first as he may have the most information or call BMW Europe in Germany for advice, based on my experience while living in Europe they were very responsive.

try teleatlas.dk

They have maps for Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. They don't allow car brand identification, so look for VDO Dayton. Ukraine wasn't available last time I've seen their webpage. Have waited myself 4 yrs for the first release of Poland (which is quite ok btw.)

Navteq seems not to notice that Eastern Europe does exist, so it's either teleatlas, or some aftermarket product.

Best of luck, let us knowif you managed to get it.
