It would be really sweet if we could get the code for TV in motion....
If anyone have a clue, please chime in...

There is NO coding to do this. You have to hard-wire the system. This is why there are so many adverts on eBay........

I got my interface through from Reslers a couple of days ago. In much anticipation of using Jochen's NavCoder software and hopefully get some more user out of it as well.

Right. Hopefully some iBus snooping. I still have to try all this stuff out (not even hooked it up to car yet or installed software yet, those b@stards at work are actually making earn my money!!!).

My friend got his 2003 M3 coded by some guy. It has TV in Motion, the roof folds up/down from the remote and the mirrors up/down as well.

I have a 2003 330Ci (MY2002/11). I'm hoping we can figure out the magic with the roof and mirrors (for my own benefit, I have cable TvInMotion ) and while I'm at it also hopefully figure out the Tv In Motion code. I'm hoping that we can figure out the difference between my car and his in terms of what code we need (hell, I'm sure we'll have a few other M3 of same build date if need be anyway ).

Like I say, they got me working hard now, but hopefully be able hook this up *very* soon.

What you reckon, likely to work?

I'll use iBus Analyser from SourceForge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=81372). Have no idea where to get winbus and whether there is any difference.

Jochen, I'm hoping you can help me out again buddy, would be nice to get all this working now that it's almost our time to enjoy a few days of sunshine

This is kinda exciting (I don't get out much these days as you can tell )

cheers
Kam

Hi Jammykam,

Here's what I've been doing:

NavCoder can now read and display current nav coding settings (telematics coding and language settings). That's today's successes :-)

(Currently working on the coding to convert Mono nav units to Colour)

NavCoder can read and code TV-in-Motion

NavCoder can scan and read info from all ibus devices, and display part numbers, hard- and software versions, and manufacturer info

Jochen

Damn, you have been busy!

I already have a Tv in Motion cable installed in my car, I needed the cable cos I installed my iPLod video in and needed it to switch back to last used audio (aux in for stereo). Got the video's on screen too. Will do a post on it when I get a little time cos ir does look pretty sweet if I say so myself

Looks like you're there with now now anyway so no need for the codes. Would be pretty sweet if you could analyse some codes and figure out how the hell the roof and mirrors trickery was working.

What would you need? I'm guessing a laptop hooked up, start recording with iBus Analyser and press the key. Then do the same when closing?

Probably one for the e46 forums, but anyone else here know the best place to tap into the iBus for Resler's board, apart from the CD Changer. From the look of the board, it's just a standard 4pin cable (of which 3 are used). The cable looks like the one used for a standard PC CD-ROM (tried it and connector fits purrfect).

Right, time for some sleep, almost 3am here and I got work at 8am

Hi all !

Excellent post and congratuations to Kiwijochen by development of navcoder.
One question:

Its possible to recode with the navcoder the SA620 option ??? This is for the voice recognition when you have installed a original Bluetooth module that come with SES (Voice entry system)
Thanks in advance if you know something about it.
Best regards !
