V28 perspective

I updated my NAV to V28 a little after it was released.
When I switch to Perspective, it kicks into Travel Direction automatically and the map starts spinning around the car pointer, which I hate.
Is there a way to have Perspective in Pointing North mode?

I think with standard V28, you can only get Perspective in Direction of Travel (not North). If you care to search this forum, Martin & some other guys built a V26-hacked software that allows you to toggle/switch to Perspective & back in either North or Direction of Travel. That's what I'm using & it works great.

I was using V27 hacked with Perspective North and Direction of travel. So, if I have to go back it will be to V27. Nice to know that V28 has only Direction of travel Perspective, not North Up.
Thanks for the useful info.
