MK4 read error
I have a Range Rover using a MK4 nav drive, it has 27.1 moded with a land rover splash screen and up till now have not had any problems with it, about three weeks ago I was traveling locally and the screen came up with cannot read disk, I’ am using a 2007-2 with speed cameras, I pressed the button to go back to the menu and the pressed map and I finished up with a screen that had the back ground but no roads on it. Replaced map for a 2007-1 that I have used for months with no problems all seamed ok till yesterday when the same thing happened, any one else had this problem or any ideas to the fault. |

Try cleaning the laser. Typical symptoms of a weak/dirty laser.

Use a laser cleaning disc, preferrably one that has a liquid cleaning solution. Look in computer or record stores.
