GPS Problem!!

Hey everyone.. My GPS shows that I'm in the completely wrong city!! When I go into the diag mode and choose sensors the it says "GPS Receiver Error". Can anyone tell me what this means? What I should look for or what I should do?

First thing to check is that there is a solid antenna connection on the back of the nav drive. Remove the 4 bolts that mount it into the rack and carefully pull it out and check the connection.

it looks good i think. how would i go about replacing the reciever where would i buy this part? i dont even know what it looks like

it's located under the rear spoiler. You would need to get one from the dealer. Check with Nick @ Morristown BMW (see our Parts forum)
