Thanks for your comments Jochen and gwc.

I have burned my own O/S disc and done the Nav upgade with no problems.

I suppose I now cancel the appointment I have next week to have the "whole car system upgrade" and keep my £141.

- Unless someone thinks that the rest of the car will get a big benefit from a system upgrade?
