Problem with 2007.1 Euro Disc

I have a v28 (soon to be v29.1) Mk4 DVD system in my 2003 Mini Cooper S and an old old old (2003) DVD in it. I've bought an original 2007.1 Road Map Europe Professional disk which just doesn't work. The error message is:

"Incorrect CD/DVD in navigation computer, Please insert appropriate CD/DVD"

Any ideas? I can read the DVD in my laptop.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I think that you need the 2007-1 High Europe disk - NOT the "Professional". PM me & I'll post you one.

I think i have the same problem. When I bought my X5 4.6i (11-2002) last month, the nav was whith a benelux 2003-1 cd. Now I have the Europe 2007-1 DVD professional.
What is the difference between high and professional? And how do you know which one you have?

Welcome to the forum

Well, the the HIGH is for the MK2-CD/MK3-CD/MK4-DVD and the PRO is for the newer I-drive systems, PRO discs have PRO written on them.

You say you have a 2003-1 CD so is your drive a MK3? if so, neither the HIGH or the PRO DVD will work, you will need the HIGH CD.

Hope this helps

Thanks!

I have a MK4 system (On the front of the system it says DVD). I did the software upgrade to 4-1/91 (4 = MK4 right?). I don't have I-drive, so it must be the high DVD!?
