I have the following:

bus 10 09
encoding 00 09
supplier 17 04

Keep scrolling down past the first screen of options. The perspective option is the first and only option on the 2nd screen.

You have a Mk3 CD nav unit.

The last software version ever made for your nav was v06.30 which you have loaded.

There are no newer software versions for the Mk3

Perspective view is only possible on a Mk4 after about v05.00

Your nav system is as up to date as it can ever be, for further enhancements you need to change to a Mk4.

R u 100% positive? I thought mark3 required multiple CD's, and markIV was single DVD, which i have. Is there any other way of displaying this information?
I will upgrade if I need to, but wnated to be 100% sure. Also, if this is infact mark3, can i still upgrace to rev 29.1?
best regards..

If you had a Mk-IV and software v27.1 you should already have the perspective view option. Are you sure your unit is reading maps from DVD?

Anyway, even if you have a Mk-III you can upgrade to V29.1, but only after making absolutely sure your V29.1 software disk has a "mode 2/form1" data format. If that is not the case your unit will block itself.
And then, you will see no difference, if you actually have a Mk-III.

Regards

Go to the SETTINGS screen from the main menu. The hardware and software version is displayed on the upper right corner of the screen in the format "x-y/zz". What is showing there?

And can you still confirm you are actually reading map DVDs on a Mk-III unit?
