I have the same problem... my unit was tried to change language with SSS (official BMW tool) the nav goes on blank, i have tried several versions all verified, burn at slowest speed, v22, v24, v29, v28, my unit starts with the power full lighted, insert the cd, power goes off, start blinking for 10 secs and later the unit eject the cd.

I have tried to write the img for cds on a blank dvd as my mk4 was reading my dvd of maps perfectly in past. Problem comes when i tried to burn the mode2 to dvd, imgburn tells me to change it on the fly to mode1 because maybe if continues burning the cd on that mode will not work. I tried to put this DVD burned with image on mode2 but converted to mode1 by imgburn and stills nothing happens... same as cd.. starts reading... later eject the dvd.

Im lost, i have my radio and cd changer full working but nothing on screen, its a little bit frustrant to have this not working.

I do recovery in MK with flash-programmer, unmount flash from unit and manually reprograming. it 100% works.


Please Cato can you tell me where i can find the file with and exact image of the flash to reflash my unit manually? Do you use Willem to do so? There another flash programmer for this flash??
