sat nav MKIII modified splash screen upgrade

Hi

I am relatively new to this forum. This is my first post. So apologies ifthe questions may seem basic. I have recently purchased a 2002 M3. It came equipped with the mk3 (or MKIII) 16:9 sat nav. I have maged to succesfully upgrade the software to the most recent version 63. Now i have read throught the post about changingthe splash screen. I have managed to change the navboot file using GIFEtractor and changed the other files to make this version number 64 so it will upgrade. Now where im gettingstuck is the mode 2 bit. I copied all the files from my original OS on to my harddrive. I have maaged to modify all relative files. Now i just need to create a mode 2 image so i can burn on to disk. I have created a ISO mode 2 file using nero then burned that to cd X2 speed but this still does not work (i also used imageburnthe verify thedisk was mode 2 which it was).

In theoriginal instructions from post http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/293615

gotdown to the bit where they start totalk about MODE2CDMAKER and just gotlost there. could someoneplease help me with this problem. many thanks in advance.
