Then attach the ibus interface to any convienient connector in the boot. Like the TV tuner connectors, anything.
I always click ground to chassis, 12V to any convienient 12V point, and ibus to any convienient ibus wire. Sometimes I'll disconnect the video module blue connector, and just tap into the ibus there, by inserting a component lead (like a resistor) into the ibus pin, and clipping on to it.

Any location on any ibus device will do.

Ibus wire is (in BMWs) always coloured white/yellow/grey so you cannot miss it.

Pretty sure there is a spare iBus connector on the right side of the boot in the RR, three pins with a little lug on one of the short sides the sides. Not sure what the wire colours will be (for example the CD Changer iBus connector wires in the E46 are NOT white/yellow/grey).

I-Bus wires are ALWAYS the same colour: white/grey/yellow

The reason the E46 appears to have a different wire colour is because what you are looking at is the K-Bus, not the I-Bus.

The K-Bus is white/red/yellow

In the E39 IKE, where both I-Bus and K-Bus are present, you will find both wire colours

Now the above is true for the BMWs, and most likely the same colours for the Range rover as well.
