Welcome to the forum,

You have upgraded from an old version that requires a cd key to finish the upgrade.

Download this zip file burn to a cd and inset ito you drive.

http://www.xoutpost.com/nav/Nav_KeyCD.zip

You should then have a fully upgraded nav drive, however tha latest version for the mk3 is either v22 or v23 (I'm not 100% sure).

V29.1 carries the last upgrade for Mk-3s as well. In fact it carries the last upgrade for any Mk.

Malaspina - While you are technically correct, I believe that what CCFJ1 was saying is that the MKIII software on any Version after 23 is identical...

Many thanks Malaspina & Douglas, thats what I meant even though its a v29 disc you only get v22 or v23.

To be totally accurate, any disk V22 or higher will take a MkIII to OS level 3-1/63

Back to the OP's issue, use the link provided above to create the KeyCD and you will be all set.

Thank guys for your help, the keycd worked. But now my system is reseting or getting stuck every time i try to choose a destination or address, did I did something wrong? Is v29.1 not created for mkIII? Also which one was the last unbugged version for mkIII and can i downgrade to it?

what year is your navigation disk?

3-1/63 is the most current (and should be most bug-free) version out there.

It would probably help a lot if you got a more current disk, to be honest with you. 2007.2 is the latest CD
