Question Nav DVD upgrade

I have an 04' X5 with Nav and just purchased an 06' nav upgrade DVD on ebay. I paid $100 for mine and am wondering if that's a fair price compared to what some of you have seen out there.

Depends what the 'DVD upgrade' was.

If the upgrade purchased a whole new Mk4 navigation computer with the DVD capable drive, then $100 USD was a bargain.

If the upgrade purchased a software DVD to allow you to upload a new software version, then possibly overpriced, as the software can be downloaded for free from the 'net

If the upgrade purchased an original map disc for your country, and the disc truely is an original (and not a copy), then potentially a good price. You would have to know the new price of a DVD map disc to compare the US$100 with.

I paid just a bit more then that for the 2007.2 version, so I'm not so sure that was a good deal for the 2006
